The nearest car park is situated underneath the Royal Garden Hotel on Kensington High Street
This is a 10-15 minute walk from the palace
An NCP Car Park is located on Young Street, off Kensington High Street.
This is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the palace

Coach drop off and collection is available at Kensington Palace on request only

By bicycle:
No cycling is permitted within Kensington Palace Gardens &dash-
However: bicycles may be chained to the railings on the park side
outside the Orangery (at the owner’s risk).
Notice: regarding your homeward journey
Please note that after 4.00pm (during winter months) and 5.00pm (during summer months)
the only exit from Kensington Gardens is via Orme Square Gate on the north side of the park and
leading onto the Bayswater Road.
Kensington Palace tourist management strongly recommend that visitors use the road from the palace to this exit after dark
As it is well lit and from the Bayswater Road you may continue your onward journey by bus
