    What Happens at Resolve (BMS) Mediations?
  • Both parties explain their concerns and needs to each other and the mediator
  • The mediator is impartial, which means ( does not take sides)
  • The Mediator helps and guides both parties, towards a mutual settlement
  • Sometimes the mediator will put forward a way of solving a problem for consideration
  • The Mediator may suggest ways forward but never try to impose them.
  • The mediator may give information about law but cannot give legal advice
  • Settlements reached through mediation are unique to the parties
