You Need:
Large frying pan
Oven-proof dish
Oven that works.
2 - rashes bacon (whoever's)
1 clove garlic
1 teaspoon red pepper
pinch of any herb from anyone
1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup
2 large 500g (16ozs) tins baked beans (with sausages in).
4 eggs
2 tablespoons of virgin olive oil
Serves four

What you do is:

  • Peel and crush the garlic.
  • Cut off the rind of the bacon.
  • Cut your bacon into strips.
  • Lightly cook the bacon in the frying pan with the garlic.
  • Add the tomato ketchup and other seasonings.
  • Arrange the baked beans etc in the oven proof dish put the bacon on top.
  • Make four little indentations in the beans and carefully break an egg into each one.
  • Cover the dish and bake it in the oven @190° C (gas 4-5)for approximately 20 minutes.
  • Serve it piping hot with bread & butter.

    What you need for 2 is:
    Two of you
    Have a cuddle and read the recipe, decide who's doing what:
    6 decent sized closed white mushrooms
    15g (approx) vermicelli
    225g shredded cooked chicken
    virgin oil for frying onion
    ½ an onion
    small tin bamboo shoots
    4 large flat open cooked shredded mushrooms
    1chicken stock cube
    ½ teaspoon dark soy sauce
    2 teaspoons of flour
    3 large tablespoons of white wine (and some more if you are not driving).
    50g tin of bean sprouts drained.
    3 eggs
    additional salt and pepper if required
    For the gravy prepare
    1 teaspoon of dark soy sauce
    2 teaspoons of flour
    ½ teaspoon of cornflour
    1 tablespoon of virgin oil
    1 tablespoon of sesame oil.
    1 tablespoon of white wine vinegar

    What you do is:

  • peel and finely shred the onion.
  • Lightly cook the flat mushrooms and shred them with a sharp knife. Put them to one side.
  • Mix the shredded cooked chicken with the seasoning and put to one side.
  • Mix all the gravy ingredients together put to one side.
  • Put 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and heat it. When the pan is smoking slightly. Add the shredded chicken & the onion. Keep the heat high and toss the pan content thoroughly. Add another tablespoon of virgin oil, add all the remaining chicken base ingredients except for the celery,bean-sprouts, eggs and seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes, remove to a dish.
  • Add another ½ tablespoon of virgin oil to the pan.
  • Shred the celery and fry with the beans-prouts for a few seconds.Add all the gravy ingredients keep the pan hot.
  • Heat the second pan with 1 further tablespoon of virgin oil.
  • Crack and beat the eggs, pour the mixture into the pan cook it like an omelette, keep it ready in the pan don't turn it out yet.
  • Turn out the chicken contents of the first pan onto a serving dish. Turn the omelette out on top flash under a hot grill for 1½ minutes. (have another cuddle during this time).
  • Eat with a bottle of wine.
