Unsurprisingly this constellation unlike so many others, really does look like the object it is supposed to be. It has been known for Centuries as the shape of a triangle.
Triangulum has only one object of interest and that is M33 which is the third largest galaxy in the Local Group, behind the Andromeda galaxy and the Milky Way.
A very low power magnification and a large telescope are required to give any real detail as it is spread out over approximately 2 moon diameters.
