Sagitta The Arrow
Constellation Index

This small constellation lying over a section of the Milky Way has been seen by many civilisations and for Centuries as an arrow. From the diagram I am sure you can understand why.

There is one object of interest M71, which is regarded as a globular cluster that has over a long period of time started to spread and so looks rather loose. It does not have a bright central core like most other globular clusters. An 6 inch or larger telescope should give a good view, with the outer stars being resolved easily.
