Reticulum The Reticule
Constellation Index

This is a small constellation that was named by Nicolas-Louis Lacaille in the 18th Century. It was in honour of the guided lines in a telescope eye piece.

It covers a sparse piece of sky and can be quite difficult to find as the surrounding constellations are all a bit vague.

If you do find this constellation, unfortunately there is not much to reward you apart from a couple of binary systems.
