Pegasus The Winged Horse
Constellation Index

Pegasus was the horse that Perseus rode when he saved Andromeda from the Sea Monster Cetus.

Pegasus is a large constellation that is relatively easy to locate, to the right of Andromeda.

For its size it is relatively sparse with two objects of note.

The first is M15, a globular cluster, to the farthest right of the constellation. A large telescope gives a splendid view of this tightly packed object.

The second object is NGC 7331, a spiral galaxy at 9th magnitude. Viewable with a 6 inch or better.
