This constellation was introduced into the sky in the 17th Century.

It is a small constellation that lies over the Milky Way in the Sourthern Hemisphere.

There are only two items of note, both being globular clusters. The first is NGC 4372 and the second NGC 4833. NGC 4833 needs a 6 inch telescope to do it justice.
