Lynx is a very difficult constellation to trace out. It has once 3rd magnitude star and the rest are dimmer.
It has two objects worth looking for if you have a 10 inch or better telescope. The first is NGC 2683, a 10th magnitude spiral galaxy that is almost edge on. You will not be able to see any fine detail in it.
The second item is a very faint globular cluster NGC 2419. This appears as a small fuzzy blob even in a 10 inch.
