Originally Libra use to be the claws of Scorpious, but between 0 and 200 A.D, it eventually become known as Libra. The names of Libra's main stars still have names from its time as the claws. Alpha Librae is called Zubenelgenubi "Southern Claw". Beta Librae is called Zubeneshamali "Northern Claw". Gamma Librae os call Zubenelakrab "Scropions claw"

Libra is one of the least distinguished members of the Zodiac.
